o matter what time of year it is, the Smart-Space team has a constant demand for loading bays and canopies. Of course that is because valuable stock can be
damaged or ruined through poor storage and no one likes to work and load vehicles in the rain. The Smart-Space team enjoys resolving logistical challenges, most of which have been
encountered on some level before. Smurfit Kappa in Norfolk opted for a short
canopy on its vast warehouse storage building supplied by Smart-Space. Although the canopy extrudes by just a few metres it is enough to keep the rear of vehicles, people and product all protected from bad weather conditions, specifically keeping everything dry. As Smurfit Kappa supplies large format corrugated
packaging to trade, this is very important. Avon Freight Group is an established,
successful freight forwarders and supply chain logistics business. Smart-Space provided an intelligent solution that resolved the dual requirements of additional storage, and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles. Two buildings pitched side-by-side provided exactly what was required, allowing all outbound stock to be perfectly sited next to the loading bay. “We have found the loading bay invaluable
