Rushlift to showcase handling solutions with full-service support at Great Yorkshire Show 2026

Rushlift, the national full-service provider of materials handling equipment (MHE), will be exhibiting at the Great Yorkshire Show from 14–17 July 2026 at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate.

Safety and test equipment “off pat” Martindale completes PAT Testers with top of range portables

Martindale Electric has complemented its quality trusted PAT tester line with two updated portable units, the EPAT1600 and EPAT2100. Following the recent launch of the hand-held HPAT425, the EPAT Series are sophisticated

portable devices capable of testing both 230V and 110V portable appliances, making them ideal for speedier on-site testing, tool hire and workshop repair applications. Both units are mains powered and offer high current bond test capability. The EPAT1600 is a simple one button, one test, manual PAT tester that’s made for Class I, Class II and

power lead tests. There are three earth bond test currents, 25A, 8A and 200mA, which can be selected on a simple rocker switch, the 200mA test being specifically for computers and sensitive I.T. equipment. Additionally, the EPAT1600 has a built-in lead tester for checking extension leads, IEC leads and adaptors. It will perform a polarity test and is supplied with the Martindale EX332 230V lead test adaptor. The EPAT2100 also features a simple one button, one test interface for testing both 230V and

110V appliances. It seamlessly performs the mandatory tests on Class I and Class II appliances for earth bond and insulation, but has the added benefits of run current, run leakage and flash test. Earth bond tests can be carried out at 25A, 8A and 200mA for sensitive IT equipment. Unlike the EPAT1600 this unit can be powered by a 110V or 230V supply, which enables run

current or run leakage tests to be performed without need for connection to an external power source. The 110V adaptor is included to enable connection to a 110V supply. As with the EPAT1600 the EPAT2100 has a built-in lead tester for testing extension leads, IEC leads and adaptors. Steve Dunning, MD at Martindale Electric, says: “These two PAT testers complete the quality

trusted Martindale range, which is renowned for accuracy, ease-of-use and practicality - from the basic HPAT425 pass/fail tester through to the EPAT2100 for workshop appliance testing. Whatever the application there is a proven tester to fit the customer requirement.”
