MULTIFUNCTIONAL COMMUNICATION IN POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE ENVIRONMENTS With its new product series, the mobile phone IS330.x, the smartphone IS530.x as well as the tablet IS930.x,
i.safe MOBILE presents no less than nine mobile communication devices for safe use in hazardous areas of Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22 as well as for robust industrial applications in non-hazardous areas. All devices are equipped with the Android 9
operating system, Bluetooth 5, Near Field Communication (NFC), Qualcomm’s 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, large internal memory, high- resolution cameras and batteries that provide sufficient energy reserves for long working hours. With the ISM interface, the IS330.1 and IS530.1
offer an exceptionally innovative and modular concept. Commercially available intrinsically safe active headsets and passive remote speaker microphones (RSM) can be connected to this interface. The amplifier for the passive RSM devices is located directly in the IS330.x/IS530.x. Thus, they are not only telephones in the conventional sense, but become a universal tool for any industrial application.
AUGMENTED REALITY FOR INDUSTRIAL USE The HMT-1Z1 Head Mounted Tablet was developed for mobile workers and specialists in maintenance and service, as well as for handling complex manufacturing and logistics processes. The applications and functions are activated
and controlled by voice. Via video remote support, mobile workers can receive assistance from the helpdesk, view technical documentation, load IoT (Internet of Things) data, call up maintenance instructions and sketches or record inspection work.

TRIGGER HANDLE SCANNING SOLUTIONS
i.safe MOBILE has developed a HazLoc-certified IS-TH1 Trigger Handle that houses Zebra OEM imager scan engines. This is the first Ex- approved long-range high-volume scanning Zone 1/21 solution of its type. It is unique in that the Trigger Handle is hardwired to its Ex smartphones and is completely passive. The IS-TH1 does not have Bluetooth connectivity or a battery, with power and data being generated or processed by the smartphone, and no need to update or charge the Trigger Handle. The Trigger Handle is currently designed to
house the
i.safe MOBILE IS530.x smartphones, it could easily be adapted to house other devices in the future, including RFID possibilities.
