individual electronic devices which do not require multiple terminations. As such, the ends are closed for mounting customer- specified connections and interfaces such as USB, D-sub and power supply. RAILTEC B is suitable for applications including Smart Factory/Industry 4.0, automation, building and safety technology, HVAC, measurement, communications, Smart Home and lighting control. It corresponds to regulations for machine building and the automotive industry.

ETCASE’s advanced TECHNOMET- CONTROL VESA-mount enclosures for HMI can now be specified fully
customised ready for
installation of the electronics. TECHNOMET-CONTROL is perfect for indoor applications such as industrial machine control, factory processing, security systems, test and measurement, point-of-sale, IIoT and detection equipment. It can house a wide range of touch screens and displays, notably Siemens TP, Beckhoff and B&R.
These elegant aluminium enclosures feature smart modular construction which enables them to be manufactured in fully customised versions. Diecast front and rear bezels fit flush with the main case body in a modern cohesive design. Snap-on trims hide all the assembly screws. The front panel is recessed in the bezel to protect displays and membrane keypads. VESA MIS-D 100 mounting points at the rear enable TECHNOMET-CONTROL to be fitted to a suspension arm or wall bracket. The base
panel on the underside is removable with space for cable entry.
Design engineers can choose from four standard sizes (230 x 180 x 95 mm to 420 x 300 x 95 mm), or specify TECHNOMET- CONTROL in custom widths, depths and heights to suit the equipment. Special colours supplement the standard combinations of traffic grey A and traffic white (RAL 7042/9016). All case panels can be custom machined, as well as printed with legends, logos and graphics using photo-quality digital printing.
Custom fixings and inserts can be specified. There are already M4 threaded earthing pillars on every panel as standard. The assembly extrusions have M3 holes and guide rails for internal plates, and the customisable rear panel has M3 PCB mounting pillars as standard. Accessories include front panels, wall mounting kits and a VESA-compatible pole mounting bracket (⌀50 mm or larger).

The new flat-profile variant has a large recessed area on the top for membrane keypads, display modules and controls. It can be mounted quickly and easily on TH35 DIN rails or directly on walls. The base has screw fixing pillars for the PCB. The enclosures are fully insulated and protected in accordance with VBG 4 and IEC 529/DIN VDE 0470-1. This new addition to the range is available in two, four, six and nine modules (35 x 86 x 31.25 mm to 157 x 86 x 31.25 mm). It is moulded from light grey (RAL 7035) PC and black PPO. Both plastics are rated UL 94 V-0 for flame retardance. Accessories for the new variant include a wall suspension element and screws for fitting PCBs and mounting plates. Accessories for other versions include terminal blocks, plug headers, lids, front panels, terminal guards, partition plates and a KNX cover. OKW can supply RAILTEC B fully customised. Services include machining, printing, laser marking, decor foils and installation/assembly of accessories.
