Matt explained, ‘Upgrading to a smart lock can sometimes leave customers with concerns about the level of security that the new lock offers. Since secuENTRY Active is ingeniously installed over the existing lock, all the benefits of the trusted lock remain, but now with the convenience of a smart lock.’
Simple installation, easy operation SecuENTRY Active is installed over the interior side of an existing Euro profile cylinder within the door. Then, using the original key, secuENTRY Active’s powerful energy efficient motor rotates the key when activated, easily unlocking the door and relocking it again as required.
In addition, internal ‘open’ and ‘close’ buttons allow for convenient keyless operation whilst a manual metal rotary knob provides mechanical emergency opening if required. Matt said, ‘SecuENTRY Active is battery operated meaning that no wiring at all is required and coming supplied with an easy to install back plate, which can be screwed, clamped or glued with the self-adhesive pad in place, secuENTRY Active is quick and easy to install whilst delivering real benefits to customers.’
Once installed, operating couldn’t be simpler, with a whole range of methods - depending upon the customer’s preference - available to choose from:
• Free BURGsmart app Available for iOS and Android smartphones, the app allows the convenient set up and management of users and locks.
• Six-digit PIN code operated keypad The illuminated, IP53 weather protection rated ENTRY 7711 Keypad PIN opens the door conveniently with a PIN, which can be changed at any time using the free KeyApp.
• Fingerprint operated keypad All the benefits of the 7711 keypad but with the added convenience of access via the swipe of a fingerprint.
• Remote electronic key
Ideal for adding to a key ring and, with Bluetooth 5.2 LE for longer range and lower battery usage, it unlocks the door with a simple touch of a button.
