RANGE REVIEW: INTERIOR DESIGN
HANDPICKED WALLPAPER DESIGNS TO GET THE LATEST LOOK
Pantone has announced ‘Peach Fuzz’ as its 2024 Colour of the Year and to help inspire DIYers, James Mellan-Matulewicz, Creative Director at wallpaper brand Bobbi Beck, has curated his favourite peach-toned designs from their collection. He has also provided some top tips on how to use them in your space.
S
peaking on the colour, James says: “Sometimes Pantone’s Colour of the Year doesn’t lend itself to styling
in the home because the tones can be tricky to incorporate, especially when highly saturated. These types
of colours can easily end up garish. “However, 2024’s choice of ‘Peach Fuzz’ is a colour that should be much easier to experiment with, given it is essentially a nude. It can work well as a supporting colour or, given the right pattern, can help create a statement in the home.”
Cameron
James says: “Our Cameron design is on the pinky side of peach, but has strong undertones of beige, making it work well with colours across the pink-beige spectrum. It’s inspired by Art Deco patterns but with a modern and alternative colour palette for a fun twist. The Art Deco style makes it work well with luxury finishes like golds and
rose golds.”

Ingo
“Our Ingo mural has an ombré effect, starting out with peach at the bottom, rising to yellow at the top. It’s subtle enough to make for an interesting backdrop, without overwhelming the space. It has a very detailed scratch-effect finish when viewed from close up, which helps add some
texture to the scheme.”

Candy
“Candy is a fun and vibrant pattern with a variety of peach tones. The design offers a retro feel but in a modern, paired-back palette. Its graphic style shows that the peach tones don’t have to be subtle and can be used as the main feature of the space, if incorporated in the
right way.”
