Deliver/Box Clever, the initiative is presented in a new 84-page publication, showing many of the display options available from Toolbank’s hundreds of suppliers. Toolbank marketing development


director Simon Bicknell said: “We have access to huge range of merchandising aids and point of sale equipment for the many different products we stock and sell.


But we have never before presented it in a combined format.”


The Stand & Deliver/Box Clever catalogue shows hundreds of display and merchandising options including countertop displays, cut cases, dump bins,


wall racks, and both free-


standing and wall-mounted display stands. All these are of course available from the individual suppliers – but making them all available through Toolbank will enable stockists to plan a truly comprehensive display much more easily.


The catalogue is double ended:

ERA, the UK’s home security specialist, has launched a new scheme for 2017, aimed at supporting independent merchants who are looking to turn the tables on slow moving stock. The Independents’ Amnesty scheme has been developed by ERA to eliminate the hassle that frequently discourages independent merchants from moving to a new brand. Offering cost-effective solutions for removing old product, along with high levels of point of sale (POS) and marketing support, the Independents’ Amnesty scheme has been designed to provide an easy transition between old stock and new, ERA branded products. Tania Tams said: “Changing brands is never an easy step for any retailer, even if current stock isn’t selling well. We are keen to ensure that we are doing all we can to support our independent customers in maximising in-store sales and the new Independents’ Amnesty scheme allows us to do just that.” Incorporating a tiered approach, the scheme includes a choice of three packages – Gold, Silver and Bronze – to suit the customer’s budget. Alongside a percentage of support for stock removal as well as marketing support, the scheme will enable merchants to work closely with their ERA representatives to determine stock selection, and will include ongoing advice and guidance to ensure successful in-store sales figures of the new products.
