Those who have had to, have stepped up to the plate, pulled together with their colleagues and got on with the job. The talent and commitment of people in the UK merchanting and building supply industries is off the scale and deserves rewarding and celebrating, especially now. Sadly, the BMJ Industry Awards Live Lunch was one of the casualties of the UK’s lockdowns in 2020. But with the vaccination programme underway, we are confident that we will be able to get together again to do what this industry does best: network and build long
lasting, profitable business relationships and solid friendships.

The BMJ Industry Awards will be back, in a new, stunning London venue, and a new time of year. November 26 2021 So, save the date in your diaries and start to think about the colleagues and companies that you believe have been the ones that made the real difference to your business over the last, unprecedented, 12 months. Entries open on March 1st and, as usual, this is the only awards programme in the merchanting industry that is decided by you, the people who work in the industry all day, every day.
