Ideal Heating Commercial announces 10-year warranty on Evomax 2 boiler

E

vomax 2, the UK’s number one selling commercial wall-mounted boiler from Ideal Heating Commercial, is now available with a 10- year warranty.

As with all Ideal Heating Commercial condensing boilers, Evomax 2 is designed specifi cally for the UK market, and produced in a state-of-the- art manufacturing plant in Hull which has seen considerable investment over recent years. “Ideal Heating Commercial is one of the few true British manufacturers left in the heating industry” states Andy Forrest, national sales manager - Ideal Heating Commercial “and we consider the 10-year warranty we have introduced on Evomax 2 to refl ect both our confi dence in this market leading commercial boiler and our commitment to British manufacturing.”

The new warranty covers 10-year parts and labour when Evomax 2 is installed on an Ideal Heating pipework header kit with plate heat exchanger, and commissioned by Ideal Heating Commercial. Commissioning is provided as a free service and not only saves installers time and money, but ensures that the boiler is operating correctly before it is put into service. An Enhanced Appliance and Primary System Check, which is chargeable at £250 per boiler, is also required under the terms and conditions of the 10-year warranty.

The new 10-year warranty does not

aff ect the existing 5-year warranty proposition, which will continue to be available with free commissioning. idealcommercialheating.com

WilSon Energy launches new PM Controller for HIUs

ast Midlands-based WilSon Energy, a provider of fully integrated heating, metering, pre-payment and billing & bureau services for residential homes and commercial developments, has added a new hydraulic proportional measurement (PM) valve to its spare parts portfolio, as it looks to plug a two-year gap in market supply. An integral part of heating interface unit (HIU) structure, the PM valve is designed to divert all primary heat to the domestic hot water side of the system, providing the end user with a fast and effi cient hot water supply. WilSon Energy worked directly with the manufacturer to commission a valve which fi ts most types of unit and will be deployed in WilSon’s new own range of HIUs.

The launch is signifi cant, as it will reduce costs and maximise energy

effi ciency for end customers. Due to a shortage in supply, plumbing and heating engineers have had to refurbish existing valves where possible, or even replace entire HIUs, costing time and money.

Andy Wilkinson, chief executive at WilSon Energy, said: “Along with the rest of the sector, we have experienced a growing frustration with lack of product availability, which is why we took the initiative to commission a new alternative PM valve.
