All condensing units in the SMMS-e range exceed 7 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating), while Toshiba’s latest heat recovery VRF air conditioning system, SHRM-e, sets a new industry benchmark for energy efficiency performance and continuous heating, achieving 8 SEER in most capacities.
Recently added to Toshiba’s portfolio is CIAT’s range of high quality chillers, air handling units and fan coil units, providing a complete offering to meet all building requirements. With the company’s integrated approach, it can deliver a total HVAC system for any project, to provide the highest levels of comfort, efficiency and control.
Toshiba products are supported by an industry- leading warranty scheme, giving up to seven years cover. Toshiba was the first company in the UK to link the level of warranty cover offered to training and competence by installers and service staff.
Training is a priority for Toshiba, and this is provided

via a network of centres across the UK, based at Toshiba locations and distributor premises. The company recently introduced an online training academy aimed at busy engineers, enabling them to update their skills at a time to suit them. It uses a combination of instructional videos, pictures and bite-sized information
that users can study and return to at any time.
Customer have their own training account, which records the courses they have successfully completed, either online or physically in the classroom. This provides automatic validation for warranty cover for equipment installed by each user, in accordance with Toshiba’s terms and conditions.
Toshiba’s commitment to safeguarding the environment is demonstrated by the company becoming the first air conditioning supplier in the UK to be certified as a Carbon Neutral® Division.
It is equally concerned about minimising the impact of refrigerants on the environment, and has developed a unique suite of technologies to detect and manage refrigerant leaks in working systems. Toshiba’s award-winning Total Refrigerant Protection and Management System is used by leading hotel chains to provide assurance for residents and staff.
