‘Excellence since 1909’ is not only recognition of our heritage of innovation, but the ethos by which we have built strong relationships with our customers by providing the best in technical, sales and customer support.
We work closely with industry professionals in the plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration and ship-building areas, as well as health sensitive sectors such as medical and food preparation at all stages of the building cycle. This ensures that our products offer highly cost-effective solutions that satisfy building requirements, covering applications such as sanitary, heating, gas, solar, compressed air and liquid gas systems.
Our product portfolio offers a range of well-known brands including Conex Compression and Triflow, with its integral solder ring, as well as the easy-to-fit, flame-free solutions provided by the >B< Press, >B< MaxiPro and >B< Push ranges.
As part of the IBP Group, we have international resources such as world-class manufacturing facilities, extensive research and development, and the expertise of employees based around the globe.
Our core offering Press-Fit: The rise in popularity of press-fit technology is the outcome of a variety of reasons. The speed, safety and ease-of-use leads to greater productivity. Following the initial preparation of a joint, it takes just three seconds to complete using a press tool – three times faster in many cases compared to traditional brazing.
Because press-fit is flame-free, there is no need for nitrogen purges or hot works permits. This results in considerable money and time-saving, allowing the maximisation of workflow.
Press-fit also means minimum tooling is required to complete a job, offering plenty of flexibility in confined spaces.
Finally, with press-fit technology, any concerns surrounding carbon deposits or flux are eliminated. The risk of corrosion is minimised and the chance of any subsequent issues arising relating to system flushing is reduced. Additionally, there’s no localised

Compression: Designed to minimize flow restriction, Conex Compression fittings are manufactured from high quality brass materials which ensure a permanently tight and secure connection, without the use of special tooling or additional sealant. These fittings are suitable for connecting a wide range of tubes, including copper tubes in accordance with EN 1057, carbon steel to EN 10305, stainless steel to EN 10312 and plastic pipes to BS 7291, EN 15875 and EN 15876.
Push-Fit: Conex >B< Push is a push-fitting, suitable for use on copper tubes in sizes 10, 15, 22 & 28mm. It’s manufactured with a corrosion resistant body in dezincification resistant (DZR) natural brass finish with only two internal components; a high grade EPDM O-ring and a stainless steel grab ring. The grab ring ensures the fitting is firmly orientated but not fixed, allowing turning for system alignment. The fittings also maintain electrical continuity on metallic pipe systems.
ACR: Designed specifically for the ACR and refrigeration market, Conex Bänninger’s >B< MaxiPro is an innovative press system that is quick and simple to install, providing a secure and permanent leak-free joint. The copper >B< MaxiPro uses Conex Bänninger’s three-point press technology, where three presses are made, one each side of the bead and one compressing the O-ring.
Designed for use in systems with operating pressures of up to 48 bar, >B< MaxiPro is available in a host of fittings types.
>B< MaxiPro fittings can be used with annealed, half hard or hard copper tube that conforms to EN 12735-1 or ASTM-B280 in air-conditioning and refrigeration applications.
With more than a century of manufacturing high quality products and meeting the needs of its customers, Conex Bänninger has the range and expertise to maintain its global leader status for years to come.
