The HVR Awards 2021 were held virtually for the second year in a row and saw 13 trophies handed out in a live stream that celebrated the best achievements across the HVAC sector. Now, here for the fi rst time are the winners with their trophies...

he session was hosted by critically comedian Ian Moore and the voice of the National Lottery and Strictly Come
Dancing, Alan Dedicoat, who did a sterling job making the occasion a fantastic online event. We were unable to picture the moment on the
day where the winners were presented with their trophies, but now we can. All of our winners, who have subsequently
received their trophies in the mail, can now proudly display their ‘Flameys’ – a very welcome addition to their trophy cabinets after are a diffi cult couple of years in the HVAC sector.
Commercial/Industrial Ventilation Product of the Year
Monodraught (HVR Zero) Technical Director, Nick Hopper said: “Winning the HVR award is fabulous recognition for the hard work and determination to develop this truly zero carbon product during exceptionally diffi cult times. The product development for HVR Zero looked at all aspects of the design and leveraged the latest technologies such as inverter control, touchscreen technology, IoT and software over-the-air updating.”

Commercial/Industrial Air Conditioning Product of the Year

Covid-19 Innovation Award
Winner – BESA Highly commended in this category was – TEV BESA chief executive David Frise said he was delighted to accept the fi rst-ever HVR COVID-19 Innovation award on behalf of the association’s staff and members. He praised the incredible team spirit that saw the entire staff rallying around to help guide members and the wider building services sector through the crisis – and the sense of community that coalesced around BESA’s daily webinars and support networks. He also thanked the HVR team and judges for keeping the
awards going under diffi cult circumstances as this helped hugely with industry morale.
