Enex Technologies acquires EOS Refrigeration Equipment

E

nex Technologies, a specialist in natural and energy efficient cooling,

heating and refrigeration equipment that helps reduce global warming and its impact on climate change, has acquired EOS Refrigeration Equipment SL (EOS). Based near Barcelona in

Spain, and founded in 2012, EOS specialises in inox (stainless steel)/aluminium ventilated units (evaporators, condensers, evaporative condensers, dry coolers, adiabatic coolers, cooling towers, etc), and ammonia chillers with an overall focus on ammonia as a natural refrigerant. EOS inox/aluminium

ventilated products and ammonia natural refrigerant heat pumps also support energy transition for heating from hydrocarbon energy to clean electric energy.

EOS joins Enex Technologies’ strong portfolio of HVACR manufacturers: Enex, Roen Est and Emicon/Hidros/EthraTech in Italy, Arctic and Kobol in Spain, and Morgana and Samifi in France. “I am extremely happy to

welcome EOS and its exceptional team of employees to our company,” said Greg Deldicque, chairman of Enex Technologies. “The addition to Enex Technologies of such a complete portfolio of inox/aluminum

ventilated units and ammonia refrigeration machines tailored for natural refrigerants aligns with our passion for offering natural and energy efficient solutions to our customers. This acquisition demonstrates how we are executing on our plan to acquire eight to ten companies over 2020-2023, on our way to creating a company with over €300 million in revenues “Together with EOS existing

team, Enex Technologies aspires to multiply EOS sales five-fold over the next four years. We are going to follow a process similar to the one which allowed us to triple the sales of Enex over the past two years.” Francisco Vallina, founder

and chief executive of EOS, has been named president of Enex Technologies industrial refrigeration division, which spans EOS and Samifi France. In his new role, Mr Vallina will benefit from the support of Franck Hamelin, Samifi general manager and chief operating officer for the division, and Remy Prunac, sales director for the division. “I am proud to join Enex Technologies and to have the opportunity to lead Samifi and EOS. Enex Technologies is making a difference for the planet by fighting global warming and reducing carbon footprint; which inspires me to be part of it.”
