WHAT IS MACHINE VISION? Machine Vision can support companies in automating their operations by utilising a combination of hardware and software to process, analyse and measure the characteristics of an item or product, which is achieved via capturing images. The technology uses hardware, such as vision sensors and cameras, to capture an image, after which the data recorded is processed and analysed. This stage can include detecting features or flaws of an item or product and identifying and tracking objects, as well as recognising and organising products, patterns and colours.


After the system has processed an image, Machine Vision equipment will then utilise software to initiate certain actions based on the
