AVA Live visits UK’s top paper recycling mill
AVA members were able to enjoy an exclusive tour of DS Smith’s advanced production & reprocessing site when the AVA Live event took place at the site based in Kemsley, Kent, on October 2.

manager Adrian Pratt. Dominating the discussion was a consultation on a move by the Scottish government to push forward with a Single-Use Disposable Beverage Cup Levy, which has prompted the AVA to urgently call on members to respond by November 14. See page 13. The event also welcomed Wayne Basham
of co-cre8 who addressed ‘Paper Cup Recycling – De-bunking The Myths’. Co-cre8, is a creator of visually impactful waste and recycling stations.
