Ensure all on-the-go consumption occasions are catered for: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner with a variety of hot & cold options.

meat Snacking should be adjacent to sandwiches as they are both bought as a main for a lunchtime meal. Meat Snacks have the lowest affinity so should be further down the fridge; likewise with Slices & Pastries.

Cross Shop Meal Deals: Encourage trade up increased spend by adding cross categories that can be added into a meal deal. Soft Drinks can complement any consumption occasion.
Range & Protein: Know your shopper and ensure a range that delivers all their needs whilst giving them options. Proteins should be merchandised left to right, and a choice of proteins should be offered: Pork, Chicken, & Beef (leading protein to the right).
