Packaging specialist, 4 Aces has received accreditation from BRC Global Standards in recognition of the company’s best practice in the handling, storage and distribution of its cups and water products. The c rtertification marks the supplier’s achievements in recent months, during a period in which the company has restructured, growing the team and adding to its product offering.

The BRC Storage & Distribution standard provides a framework for best practice for companies that are responsible for the storage and distribution of goods, while requiring those businesses to demonstrate continual improvement of their systems. 4 Aces has invested and worked to align its internal
procedures, practices and warehouse infrastructure with this globally recognised and respected accreditation scheme.

Abbeychart is to support a school project in Kenya. Funds raised will fund a water source for a village whose children often miss school because they need to fetch three litres of water a day. For some, this is just not possible. Having access to clean, safe water will not only enable b ttetter attendance at Kikumini Primary School but will also improve ne for the community. The village is a few hours from Nairobi. Just a anagers will also provide hygiene education as part of the project. Taylor,managing director of Abbeychart, said: "As a team, we are alread developing ideas to fundraise with activities including cake mornings, scratch ca Tough Mudder ' events and weighing in our scrap metal and donating proceeds to the charity. Abbeychart is donating £1 of each order in a given month to the charity (and is encouraging customers to join in) later this year".
