Welsh Slate and Breedon Special Aggregates feature on Chelsea Flower Show gardens


A plethora of products from Breedon Special Aggregates and Welsh Slate, part of the Breedon Group, were featured on a quartet of gardens at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show held earlier this month.

Built by GK Wilson Landscapes, it also featured four- and six-inch solid concrete blocks from Breedon’s Wickwar site, building sand from Severn Sands, standard bagged cement, and MOT-type aggregate from its Dowlow site. Special Aggregates materials - The Shifting Garden and The Hampdon Stargart Garden. The Shifting Garden was designed by The Chelsea Gardener to maximise the limited space of typical urban gardens and uses 14mm Cotswold Buff decorative aggregate from Breedon’s Holme Hall site.
