RHEINTACHO UK, which was formerly called Foundrometers Instrumentation, was founded in 1919 in Leeds. It acquired Harding of Leeds in 1980. In 2000, Foundrometers was in turn taken over by RHEINTACHO Messtechnik GmbH of Freiburg, Germany, founded in 1901.
