NVC Lighting announces new appointments N
VC Lighting has welcomed four new area sales managers and a new key account manager, further enhancing the company’s commitment to providing support to both new and existing customers. Mark Compton, Billy Foster, Aaron Chandi and Andrew Dear join NVC Lighting as area sales managers with extensive sales backgrounds in the lighting sector. The new recruits will be tasked with serving and developing key regions for the brand.
Mark Holman, meanwhile, has joined the company as key account manager, responsible for building contractor relationships and growing project opportunities.
Chris Tanner, Southern regional sales manager at NVC Lighting, said: “This has been a remarkably positive year for NVC Lighting, and these appointments are a testament to our ongoing growth and success.”
ECA champions electrical apprenticeships
D
uring A-level results week, leading electrotechnical and engineering services association ECA highlighted the importance of electrical apprenticeships in the move to low carbon technologies and net zero. ECA is putting the need for more electrical apprentices fi rmly at the centre of the new government’s agenda, launching the Electrical Skills Index - a dataset analysing how many people in England are starting classroom-based courses compared to apprenticeships – to highlight the areas of the country facing a shocking shortage of electrical skills.
A career in electrical engineering, design or installation can open a whole world of opportunities, and it all starts with an apprenticeship. The Electrical Careers website is the industry approved portal for fi nding routes into electrical apprenticeships.
