The new Deco and Deco Plus 2 gang unswitched socket outlets, designed with the consumer in mind, come offered with a safety shutter feature to increase security and overall reassurance. The safety shutters are designed to exceed BS 1363 requirements, where a standard BS 1363 Shutter only requires an engaging earth pin to open the shutter. These are available in satin chrome or stainless steel finishes and black or white inserts.
Added to the Definity range are the 50A Control Switch Inserts, which have been introduced in Polar White and Black to match the other Definity inserts in the decorative wiring range. This allows for a non-ingot solution for Polar White, Metal White, Matt Black and Metal Black cover plate finishes.
Manufactured in durable fi re-resistant thermoplastic, this extensive and expanded range is designed to meet the vast majority of installer requirements, including Switches up to 3 gang/2 way, 20A and 45A double pole options, plus intermediate and dimmer switches. Sockets have 1 and 2 gang single and double pole fi ttings, both switched and unswitched, a range of data and shaver sockets as well as upgraded 45A cooker switches and fused connection units. In total, the Curvex range, including cavity boxes, amounts to upwards of 50 lines.
Designed for ease of installation, Curvex features solid screws for deep fastening into terminal blocks, with captive screws and clear terminal markings to help ensure strong long- lasting connections. The Curvex range has 6mm thick plates, is certifi ed to all relevant BS and BS EN Standards and is backed by a 25-year guarantee.

Baxi launches end-to-end heat network solutions service
Baxi’s complete end-to-end range of products and services, including new AquaHeat heat interface units (HIUs), provide a single point of contact for customers involved in heat network projects.
With heat networks set to be implemented across a growing number of UK new build and renovation projects, Baxi is off ering a raft of services to support customers with correct implementation, perfect for use in new build or retrofi t multiple occupancy buildings, campus heating systems and district heat networks.
At the heart of Baxi’s heat network proposition is Baxi Packaged Solutions, which are pre-packaged plant rooms
for centralised energy centres, and prefabricated utility cupboards for use in individual dwellings within the property. Baxi is also launching AquaHeat, a new heat interface unit (HIU) for use in multiple occupancy projects such as apartments. The twin-plate HIUs are available in two outputs and can deliver indirect space heating and Domestic Hot Water (DHW) for new build and older homes. An indirect heat-only model is also available for use in commercial premises.
