Helping businesses get back to business Proofvision hasalready helped a number of businesses to boost their capacity and income using its waterproof TVs. Pubs and restaurants have increased their capacity by showing live events, such as sports, safely in outdoor areas, as well as increasing bookings and enhancing the customer experience by using the TVs to answer frequently asked questions, share QR codes, offers, promotions and make safety
announcements. This key messaging is clearly displayed around the premises on large screens up to 75”, which are up to five times brighter than household TV screens. The purpose-designed waterproof TVs can withstand even the harshest of weathers and can be wall-mounted or on a wheeled stand for convenience, meaning they are ideal for typically unpredictable British weather. While most choose to purchase the TVs, outdoor TV rental is also available for additional flexibility, particularly when hosting events that accommodate increased capacities. The outdoor TV range offers the choice of purchasing and/or hiring all year round.

According to a recent survey by Zopa,:
1. Nearly half (44%) of households are planning to get stuck into DIY projects
their favourite apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime etc, and they’ve been able to entertain guests over a BBQ while people couldn’t mix indoors. ProofVision has helped bring entertainment to households while gyms, cinemas, theatres and festivals have been closed through lockdown, with many turning their back garden into a beer garden for sporting events, as pubs struggled to accommodate patrons in limited outdoor spaces. Homeowners and furloughed workers traded travel and commutes for home improvements and comfort, wanting to boost their property value at the same time, while many families have sought better use of their home, separating workspaces from living space. The outdoor TV range in sizes 32” to 75” has helped transform gardens to the ‘modern outdoor living room’ meaning a much-welcomed
2. Those sprucing up their property estimate they will spend £2,174 typically, which is more than double the average spend in the first half of 2020 at £995, the survey found.
3. A quarter (24%) of households say they are bored with their surroundings, and a fifth (20%) feel their garden has become more important, according to the survey of more than 2,000 people across the UK.
4. The uncertain times play a part too, with more than one in 10 (13%) saying they want to make changes in case there is another major lockdown yet to come.
5. Home entertainment is also a priority, with 12% planning to entertain in their gardens more. Some people have even built bars in their homes or gardens during lockdown, spending £1,500 on average.
