EIC celebrates anniversary with Power of Ten campaign


Commemorating the Legacy of the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC). O


n 10 September, the EIC will proudly celebrate EIC Day, marking the anniversary of the charity by


honouring the incredible journey that began with ten pioneers who each contributed £10 to help those in need within our industry. The EIC invites the industry to join them through the ‘Power of Ten’ campaign.


Participate in the Thames Moonlight 10-Mile Walk


One of the highlights of the celebration is the Thames Moonlight 10-mile walk, a symbol of unity and commitment. The EIC charity team will be taking part in this inspiring event, walking together under the moonlight to raise funds and awareness. To join them on this journey, you can either walking with them or support their eff orts through donations. Zumtobel Group raises funds for EIC Thorn and Zumtobel, part of the Zumtobel Group, have raised £9,824 for the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) during the fi nancial year 2023/24. The funds were raised through various internal initiatives, refl ecting the company’s commitment to supporting its wider community. Paul Kilburn, managing director UK and Ireland at the Zumtobel Group, expressed his pride in his team’s eff orts, highlighting the importance of supporting the EIC: “The Electrical Industries Charity often stands as an unsung hero behind the scenes in the electrical industry, off ering invaluable support and assistance to those in need. Our team has come together to contribute to this noble cause, recognising the crucial role EIC plays in the lives of many. The compassion and dedication of the EIC team are truly inspiring, and we are honoured to support their mission.” Kate Adamczyk, director of marketing and business development at the Electrical

The funds raised by the Zumtobel Group brands and teams were accumulated through a series of engaging activities and initiatives, including a walking challenge; central donation for customer surveys; bake off s; donate for a duvet day, ‘Last One Standing’ events and a Red Bull Book Auction.
