Smart lighting supplier ESYLUX joins IMELCO Group

SYLUX, a sensor-based automation and lighting control supplier, has joined the IMELCO wholesaler cooperative group as a preferred supplier.
From its base in Ahrensburg, Germany, ESYLUX has a clear focus on commercial environments such as offi ces, education, and healthcare. The company works closely with wholesalers, installers, and (lighting/electrical) planners, while keeping R&D and a signifi cant part of production and quality assurance centralized in Ahrensburg. For IMELCO’s 1100 electrical wholesaler members, ESYLUX off ers a strong and commercially attractive portfolio aligned with both project business and day-to-day market demand: from DALI-2 presence detection and application controllers to solutions around Human Centric Lighting. The focus is on fast commissioning; open standards such as DALI-2 and KNX; and support that makes life practically easier for wholesalers and installers.
eading apprenticeship provider JTL has offi cially opened its newly refurbished ‘London South’ training centre in Orpington, following a £1 million investment to expand high-quality electrical, plumbing and heating training across London and Kent. The centre was formally opened at a launch event attended by employers, industry stakeholders and local representatives, with Helen Hayes MP (chair of the House of Commons Education Select Committee) offi ciating, alongside Sir John Low, chair of the JTL board and Chris Claydon, JTL’s chief executive. The signifi cant investment has transformed the Orpington site into a modern, industry-led training facility, featuring fully equipped plumbing and electrical training bays with industry-standard equipment, including heat pumps, solar thermal systems and energy effi ciency technologies.
