Ansell Lighting unveils enhanced Prism Pro range
Ansell Lighting has signifi cantly enhanced its Prism Pro fi re rated (FRD) downlight range with a series of new options off ering ultimate user choice and control.

ll products in the Prism Pro range - which includes the Downlight, Gimbal, and Anti-Glare– will benefi t from the improvements.
The improvements include increased choice in CCT selection, with products being available in 2,700, 3,000, 4,000, and 6000K options. In another fi rst, Ansell has introduced selectable wattage – between 5W and 7W – on the downlight element of all products, with the switch to change the wattage located on the downlight element itself. All Prism Pro products also now come with Ansell’s innovative detachable connector. This enables the installer to complete the initial wiring and circuit testing using the detachable connector, before installing the actual downlight, ensuring a quick and simple installation. Mark Abbott, managing director at Ansell Lighting said: “Our lighting design engineers strive to build usability and functionality into our products at the outset, and continue to improve and enhance them wherever feasible. The new functions are highly benefi cial additions to the Prism Pro range and will deliver outstanding added value to installers and retailers.” Prism Pro FRD fi re ratings meet Part C (moisture), Part E (acoustic) and Part L (energy effi ciency) of building regulations when installed in Solid Timber,
I-joist and Metal Web ceilings. Ansell also off ers the Prism Pro LED Trimless Bezel Kit, which can be used to transform the downlight into hidden fi xtures that sit seamlessly in ceiling recesses.
The Prism Pro range is suitable for a wide range of applications, including residential, retail, hospitality and commercial settings and all luminaires are compatible with the OCTO connected lighting service.
