Ansell Lighting expands warehouse distribution L
eading lighting designer and manufacturer Ansell Lighting has opened an additional distribution warehouse in Warrington,
following a period of continued growth. The new 72,000 sq ft facility, on Stonecross Industrial Park, where Ansell has its existing warehouse and HQ, increases the company’s North West warehousing capacity by 78% and will enable it to accommodate further growth and increase stock holding. Ansell is also introducing a new warehouse management system to
support its multi-site operations, enhancing coordination across locations, optimising stock handling, and further improving the effi ciency of its processes, ultimately enhancing customer service. Managing director of Ansell Lighting Mark Abbott said: “By expanding our capacity and enhancing operations, we are laying the groundwork for sustained business growth and ensuring we continue to meet the needs of our valued customers eff ectively. “We are excited about the opportunities it will bring and look forward to seeing the positive impact on our service delivery and operational effi ciency.”
Scolmore announces new external sales structure

colmore Group has announced a realignment of its external sales structure to support its strategic business plan and maximise the growth potential for Click, Ovia, ESP and Unicrimp. Following success for the Elucian range since its launch in 2021, a decision has been made to separate wiring accessories and circuit protection into two separate categories, each with its own dedicated sales team. This will provide more focussed eff ort and allow the company to develop the expertise within each sector to off er the highest level of service to customers. The restructure will see former regional sales manager (south
west and midlands) Audra Fellows promoted to the new position of national sales manager - group specifi cation and key accounts. Promoted from regional sales manager (north) to national sales manager for Click, is Dom Freer, who will now have responsibility for the Click range of products across the UK. With the Elucian consumer units and circuit protection range now operating as a separate product category, Scolmore Group has invested in a dedicated focus for the category with the appointment of Dan Ellams as the Elucian national sales manager, covering the whole of the UK.
