Instrumentation & Electronics Awards

Final weeks to enter the 2026 Instrumentation & Electronics Awards

With 30th June deadline approaching, organisations across the instrumentation and electronics landscape are being invited to put forward their standout projects, products and people for the 2026 Instrumentation & Electronics Awards

N

ow in its second year as a unifi ed programme, the Instrumentation & Electronics awards continue to recognise the achievements shaping modern industrial technology. The combined format — created by bringing together the prestigious Electronics Industry Awards and the Instrumentation Excellence Awards — has quickly established itself as a central platform for celebrating innovation across the sector. For 2026, the programme returns with a refi ned structure and an expanded set of categories designed to refl ect both established engineering strengths and the emerging technologies infl uencing the next phase of industrial development.

24 June 2026

Open to manufacturers, distributors, integrators and end users, the awards aim to capture the full breadth of activity across the electronics and instrumentation supply chains. Whether it’s component-level design, system integration or applied engineering in real-world environments, the programme provides a route for organisations of all sizes to gain independent recognition for their work.

New categories for 2026

This year sees the introduction of three new categories, each refl ecting a clear shift in industry priorities.

 Industrial AI Product of the Year Artifi cial intelligence is now fi rmly

Components in Electronics

embedded in industrial operations, supporting everything from predictive maintenance to advanced analytics. This new category highlights products that demonstrate measurable improvements through the practical application of AI in electronics and instrumentation.

 Passive Component /

Electromechanical Product of the Year Often overlooked but always essential, passive and electromechanical components remain critical to system performance, effi ciency and reliability. The new category acknowledges the engineering progress being made in these foundational technologies.

 Academic Support & Training Award With skills shortages continuing to

challenge the sector, this award recognises organisations and initiatives that are strengthening the talent pipeline. From academic partnerships to structured training programmes, the category celebrates those investing in future capability. These additions sit alongside the established product, business and individual awards covering areas such as test and measurement, power electronics, sensors, semiconductors, design, manufacturing and technical innovation. The result is a balanced programme that reflects both the industry’s heritage and its forward
