40th Anniversary
Life begins at 40 C
At the start of 2024, CIE will celebrate 40 years of bringing the latest news and information to the electronics industry – and welcome in an exciting new phase
omponents in Electronics (CIE) will turn 40 years old in January 2024. To celebrate this milestone, we will be publishing a special anniversary issue of the magazine – but that’s not all. To herald in a new era in CIE’s illustrious history, publisher Datateam Business Media will be launching a one-day ‘table- top’ exhibition – Electronics LIVE – that will culminate in a glittering anniversary party that the whole electronics industry is invited to.
Electronics LIVE Over the decades, CIE has evolved from a magazine to incorporate a cutting-edge website, comprehensive distributor directory, and the prestigious Electronics Industry Awards to keep up with the demands of its audience and their vibrant and innovative industry.
The latest evolution of the CIE brand will encompass a new and exciting event. Electronics LIVE is a time- and cost-effective one-day trade show where purchasing managers, infl uencers and key decisionmakers can meet manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of electronic components, source product innovations, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments. The event for the electronic components sector will make its debut alongside the ‘Instrumentation LIVE’ exhibition – formerly known as Sensors & Instrumentation – at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham, on 17th January 2024. Exhibition space is now available to be purchased in a convenient table-top format, which should ensure visitors see as many electronics companies and innovations as possible during the day.
