T
he Footwear Industry Awards will be held on the first night of the Moda Footwear Show Sunday 18th February 2018 at the National
Conference Centre near Birmingham NEC. It promises to be a fabulous evening, so put the date in your diaries
This year a panel of independent footwear industry representatives will decide upon the shortlist of the finalists and the ultimate winners and highly commended in each brand category. For the retailer categories, the winners will be decides solely by the vote of the industry, via the Footwear Industry Awards website.
The Judging panel will include John Saunders, British Footwear
Association, Laura West, Society of Shoe Fitters, David Lockyer, Footwear Friends, and independent footwear retailers, James North, Robin Elt, Graham Parkin and Bernard O’Brien. The footwear buyer from Schuh is also on our panel of judges, together with a representative from Moda and myself as Editor of Footwear Today.
Early bird tickets are now available priced from £95 + VAT for individual places. Tables of ten can be secured at a cost of £950 + VAT. The price includes a cocktail reception, a sumptuous three-course dining with fine wines, after-dinner entertainment, a Gold & Black Charity Fundraiser and 25 award presentations for outstanding performance.
