JAI RETURNS TO VISION STUTTGART 2026

his year JAI will once again showcase its latest industrial camera technologies and machine vision innovations at VISION Stuttgart 2026, taking place 6–8 October in Stuttgart, Germany. Visitors can meet JAI in Hall 10, Booth 10C18, where the company will present an expanded portfolio of area scan and line scan cameras covering visible, ultraviolet (UV), near-infrared (NIR), and short- wave infrared (SWIR) imaging. A key focus of JAI’s presence at VISION will be 11 live demonstrations, giving visitors the opportunity to experience a wide range of imaging technologies in action. The demonstrations will highlight solutions for applications including food inspection, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor inspection, recycling, printing, logistics, and material sorting.
Analysis in a single scan Among the technologies on display will be JAI’s prism-based colour and multispectral imaging solutions. The Sweep+ Series SW-8000Q-CXP2A will demonstrate simultaneous RGB and NIR line scan imaging, enabling colour and material characteristics to be analysed in a single scan. Visitors will also be able to compare JAI’s three-

sensor prism technology with conventional Bayer colour imaging and explore multispectral area scan imaging with the Fusion Series FS-3200T-10GE-NNC, which provides pixel-perfect multispectral data across up to five spectral bands. JAI will also demonstrate imaging technologies extending beyond the visible spectrum. The GO-8105M-5GE-UV will showcase UV imaging for applications such as electronics and semiconductor inspection, pharmaceutical and medical inspection, and print inspection.
Low noise performance
For SWIR applications, visitors can see the Wave Series WAA-1300-GE-TEC, which combines Sony’s IMX990 sensor with integrated thermoelectric cooling (TEC). The camera provides simultaneous visible and SWIR imaging across the 400–1700 nm spectral range, delivering stable, low-noise performance for demanding inspection applications. JAI will also preview the new Wave Series
WAL-2001-GE SWIR line scan camera, featuring JAI’s latest 2K pixel-shift technology for high-quality SWIR line scan imaging and enhanced inspection capabilities. High-resolution imaging will be another key focus. The Sweep Series SW-16000TL- CXP4A will demonstrate high-resolution RGB line scan imaging, while the Spark Series will
showcase high-resolution, high-speed area scan imaging using CoaXPress over Fibre, supporting applications requiring maximum bandwidth over long cable distances. JAI will also demonstrate the Sweep Series SW-8001M-10GE, combining line scan performance with a versatile SFP+/10GigE interface.
In addition to the live demonstrations, visitors will be able to explore a broad selection of JAI cameras and get a first look at two upcoming technologies currently under development. During Industrial Vision Days, James Cameron, Global Segment Director, Food at JAI, will also present “How Multispectral Vision Transforms Food Inspection” on 6 October at 12:40 in Hall 8, Booth C70.
