ECO PHYSICS nCLD "Facelift" boxed solutions nCLD 844 CMhr in beverage applications
Measurement of: NO, NOX, NH3
Nitrogen oxides are contaminants in beverage-grade CO2, emerging from raw gas sources or during CO2 production. Their presence, even at very low concentrations, can lead to off-flavors, chemical instability, and potential health risks. Modern analyt- ical systems, such as the nCLD800 series are capable of detecting trace impurities in CO2. Depending on the configuration, this can include the detection of NO, NO2 or NH3, at extremely low levels. This allows beverage producers to continuously moni- tor the purity of CO2 and take corrective actions if contamination is detected, thereby protecting both consumers and brand reputation. For example, the Coca Cola pro- duction facility in Ghent, Belgium utilizes ECO PHYSICS CLD and nCLD844CMhr.
