TECHNOLOGY IN ACTION ADVERTORIALS SEPURA - cleaner solutions
powered by clean energy Bowman Stor, manufacturers of the groundbreaking SEPURA™ behind the greener industry principles that they advocate by making the switch to solar energy.
The bold move means that the entire SEPURA factory is now driven by renewable energy after Bowman invested in the installation of 188 solar panels on the roof of its extensive Walsall premises.
AERZEN Machines
AERZEN has developed into one of the most competent suppliers for technical solutions in process gas applications. The team is made construction, instrumentation/control systems, sales, application and project management. The process gas specialists are closely connected. For planning and engineering, the team has the latest software tools at its disposal, such as 3D visualisation and precise material lists provide transparent alignment with the customer for each stage of planning. This allows us to develop bespoke solutions for the widest range of applications in close cooperation with our customers. We have already installed approx. 2,000 plants around the world.

The company has even installed an electric vehicle charging point to further reduce the carbon footprint of the business.
This latest development reinforces Bowman Stor’s continuing environmental drive centred on creating innovative solutions to minimise the output of contaminants produced though the use of compressed air technology. The SEPURA range SILEXA™ media, developed in Bowman’s own laboratories and produced from recycled glass bottles, yielding oil/ water output levels of lower than 10ppm.
Managing Director Richard Potts is fully committed to maintaining Bowman’s corporate and social responsibility in striving for a greener future. “It’s not just what you make, it’s how you make it,” he says. “ Bowman Stor not only use renewable, sustainable raw materials, we are now using renewable energy to deliver products that help create a better, cleaner environment”.

Thermal Screening: Fundamental in Process Scale-Up
Detection of thermal and pressure hazards is vital across industries – from pharmaceuticals to chemicals – to ensure operational safety. Uncontrolled temperature spikes and overpressurization can cause serious hazards, which, if not detected early, can compromise process integrity and personnel safety. synthesizing a target molecule and includes reaction route selection and thermal screening, ensuring decisions made early in the process minimize risks of temperature spikes, thermal runaways, and explosions
H.E.L’s Thermal Screening Unit (TSU) is designed for rapid, reliable screening of temperature and pressure insight into reaction conditions for risk assessment. Accurate, rapid results ensure immediate risk mitigation measures. Visit booth C106, CHEMUK2025, 21-22 May.
Heavy Duty Grout Transfer Pumps for Power Station
A construction company contacted North Ridge Pumps recently regarding two grout transfer pumps to be used for a new power plant being built. Of course, you’ll probably know what grout is and what it’s used for. So why is industrial grout any different? Like domestic grout used in domestic DIY, industrial grout is a composite material usually made of sand, cement and water. It can also include amounts of epoxy resins or other materials to give it greater durability and chemical resistance. Peristaltic pumps are well suited for a variety of construction applications which need abrasive grout to be transferred and injected.
They’re particularly suitable for projects where the grout
transfer pumps may be inoperative for long periods, or when downtime during batches would not be an option.
