manufacturers of magnetic separators for the food and processing sector. Inline Magnets easily fit into existing pneumatic (up to
15 psi) or gravity-fed pipelines transporting foodstuffs. The fabricated pipe-shaped body includes suitable ends to connect with existing pipework. A strong Rare Earth Neodymium Plate Magnet, mounted centrally on one side of the body, captures any small and large ferrous metal. As the Baby Food has chucks of vegetables and meat, it
was important that there was no restriction to the product flow preventing damage to the food and blockages. With the Inline Magnet is that there is no restriction to the product flow.

supplying the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies with bespoke automation systems to assist in the race to develop the Covid-19 vaccine. William Slim, Director explains, ‘A particularly challenging aspect to developing such critical systems dur- ing the pandemic is the extremely tight deadlines involved. We are proud to have delivered several critical projects on time and to specification’. The company primarily serves pharmaceutical, medical, automotive and petrochemical industries.
Extensive experience in electrical circuit design and software development means Versatile can offer a complete automation package.

HSE Testing Confirms Casella Cyclone Air Sampling Heads Reliability
Sampling heads to ensure that the heads meet the ACGIH/ISO/CEN (EN 481) standard. The intensive testing has confirmed that Casella’s Cyclone sampling heads meet this standard when sampling at the published flow rate of 2.2 litres per minute. Every Cyclone is manufactured to sample respirable dust at a specific air-flow rate; if
C
the cyclone is not sampling correctly at the specified flow rate the concentration of dust can be over or under estimated; a concerning outcome when poor data could have a direct and negative impact on workplace safety and worker health.
“The confirmation from the HSE that our Cyclone heads operate as intended is welcome news”, says Tim Turney,
Casella Global Marketing Manager. “Recent testing of cyclones by other manufacturers has shown they were not meeting the EN481 standard, calling into question all past air samples taken with those heads. Our original performance to the standard at a 2.2 litres/min flow rate still stands, giving end users confidence in the results.”

Intelligent sequencing system for steam boiler installations
ensure energy efficient operation and improve boiler longevity. With many facilities operating multiple boilers for their processes, SCOPE is a
P
universal control system suitable for sequencing up to four steam boilers, which can be retrofitted to existing vertical and horizontal fuel-fired boiler installations, including Fulton’s own range of existing and planned products and those manufactured by other boiler OEMs. Commenting for Fulton, managing director Carl Knight says: “Using SCOPE’s intelligent sequencing to provide
redundancy and reliability, significant savings can be made by automating start-up and shut-down procedures, controlling and optimising main steam header pressure or temperature, ensuring steam supply is controlled precisely for the required process and balancing the load distribution across the boilers, thus eliminating extensive losses from repeated start/stop cycling of burners.”

revolutionary hand sanitizer dispenser with an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot that allows operators to remotely access live usage and product level data for multiple systems via their online dashboard. By monitoring product level from any location, operators
can prevent empty dispensers and arrange for units to be refilled only when necessary, supported with low-level warnings sent to their smartphone. Managers can also use their dashboard to upload
bespoke media to the 17”/21”-screen DispenserONE® models, allowing video and audio content including advertising and promotions to remain fresh and relevant.
