Altus Group partners with SMT Thermal Discoveries to enhance electronics manufacturing in Ireland
Altus Group has signed an agreement with SMT Thermal Discoveries to distribute its advanced refl ow soldering and thermal technology solutions in Ireland.
With over 30 years of expertise in thermal engineering for electronics manufacturing, SMT Thermal Discoveries offers cutting-edge convection refl ow, curing, and thermal testing equipment.
Altus has recently celebrated signifi cant milestones and growth of its Irish division, including welcoming three new pivotal team members, inaugurating a state-of-the-art demonstration facility, and enhancing its portfolio by adding leading brands, including Essemtec and PVA. The partnership with SMT Thermal Discoveries demonstrates Altus’ continued commitment to expanding its offerings and service capabilities for customers in the region.

Aurrigo International claims ‘export’ fi rst with European-funded city trial win
Aurrigo International is set to deploy its autonomous transport technology in mainland Europe for the fi rst time.

The Coventry-based company, which recently celebrated its one-year listing on AIM, will see its Auto- Shuttle vehicle take to the cobbled streets of Prague as part of the €275,820 EU-funded Living Lab for Autonomous Public Transport Project (LivingLAPT). Led by University College London (UCL), the co- operation between industry, municipalities and operators will see the autonomous vehicles run with a safety driver on board, while working towards a goal of using remote supervisor monitoring, signalling a new era in autonomy in public transportation.
