Amphenol SurLok Plus connectors available from Rutronik
Rutronik says Amphenol’s SurLok Plus connectors are characterised by high reliability
H
igh reliability in harsh environments: Amphenol offers the SurLok Plus series, a highly reliable alternative to conventional compression lugs. With protection class IP 67, it is an environmentally sealed version of the original SurLok series.
This makes it ideal for use in harsh, demanding environments. Energy storage, e-mobility, process control, and heavy equipment are the key markets and applications for this connector. SurLok Plus is available in smaller sizes (3.6mm, 5.7mm, and 8mm) than its predecessor SurLok, and features a quick-lock and press-to- release design. Since Amphenol uses industry standards for the crimp, screw, and busbar connection options, no additional investment in special torque tools is required. This combination allows for straightforward on-site installation.
Three different colors (red, black, orange) and different mechanical coding options allow
multiple SurLok Plus connectors to be used side by side without the risk of reverse polarity. Key features of the 3.6 mm variant at a glance: • Rated current: 50 A to 70 A • Gender: male, female/rectangular • •
• Application examples:
• Electric vehicles (EV/HEV); • Rail passenger transport; • Medical technology; • Battery management systems For more information about the SurLok Plus series by Amphenol and a direct ordering option, please visit our e-commerce platform at

HFD5 from Hongfa – currently the smallest signal relay at Rutronik
With the miniaturised signal relay from Hongfa
W
ith the HFD5 from Hongfa, Rutronik adds the smallest signal relay currently available on the market to its portfolio, measuring 9.0 mm x 4.8 mm x 4.9 and is ideal for innovative applications in measurement, and inspection equipment. The signal relay is available as a DIP or SMT variant and as a single-sided stable or latching version.
With a low coil power of 50 mW and an mA, the miniaturised signal relays impress not only with their compact design but also controlled directly by a microprocessor. The relays have bifurcated contacts that
ensure reliable switching even of weak currents over the entire electrical service life. RoHS conformity.
The most important features summed up: •
signal relay;
• Low coil power of 50 mW; •
• Direct control from microprocessor possible;
• Forked contacts; • Available as DIP or SMT version; • Available as single-ended stable and self-retaining type; and
•
reel.
