Axelera AI launches Voyager Wingman, an AI-assisted deployment tool for its edge AI hardware SDK Axelera AI, a franchised Astute manufacturer and
priority partner for edge AI acceleration hardware, has launched Voyager Wingman — a new AI-assisted deployment and tuning assistant built into its Voyager software development kit, aimed at simplifying model deployment and optimisation on Axelera’s edge AI hard- ware.
Voyager Wingman is designed to guide engineers through the practical, often time-consuming work of getting a trained model deployed and properly tuned for a specific edge AI accelerator — a step that fre- quently demands specialist knowledge of the target hardware’s architecture and constraints. By embed- ding AI-assisted guidance directly into the deployment workflow, Axelera is targeting one of the more persistent adoption barriers in edge AI: the gap between having a trained model and having it running efficiently on real hardware in the field.
Bram Verhoef, Axelera AI’s VP of customer engineering & success, is quoted in the announcement describing the tool as built to shorten that last, hardest stretch of get- ting a model from “trained” to genuinely deployed.
For engineers working on defence, industrial, or com- mercial edge AI applications — computer vision, sensor fusion, autonomy and similar on-device inference workloads — this lowers the practical barrier to adopt- ing Axelera’s hardware, particularly for teams without deep in-house expertise in accelerator-specific deploy- ment tuning. It’s also a useful example of a broader AI infrastructure trend: accelerator vendors increasingly competing on ease of deployment as much as on raw performance.

Mouser’s alternative energy resource centre provides engineering insights into new decentralised systems
Mouser Electronics, supports design engineers with its online alternative energy resource centre by providing technical content and practical insights for developing cleaner, more efficient, sustainable and decentralised energy systems.
This resource centre supports advances in renewable generation, energy harvesting and smart grids, con- necting emerging energy concepts with the compon- ents and design approaches needed to implement them.
Renewable energy is evolving from an emerging tech- nology area to a core consideration in component and system design. Mouser’s resource centre provides engineers with insights into the electronics and infra- structure needed to make energy reliable, sustainable and scalable, including energy storage, smart grids, sensors, power electronics, IoT and AI.
New forms of energy rely on an interconnected ecosystem of technologies working together. From next-generation solar cells to self-powered IoT devices, this ecosystem is becoming increasingly decentralised. Perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells could enable more efficient and versatile renewable generation, while decentralised power grids can help integrate energy generated across homes, businesses, and local systems. At the device level, energy harvesting takes this shift further by enabling IoT sensors to capture power from sources such as light, heat, and vibration. Together, these technologies demonstrate how energy generation and management are moving closer to where power is needed.
Mouser’s technical team and trusted manufacturer partners regularly update the resource centre with articles, blogs, eBooks and new products for alterna- tive energy solutions from top manufacturers. These resources help engineers understand where energy technology is heading and how emerging energy sys- tems can enable scalable, real-world solutions.
