Pressings specialises in the manufacture of springs,
pressings and wire forms – from design, sampling and technical support to manufacture. Parts can be manufactured from materials including Spring Steel, Stainless Steel, Phosphor Bronze, Beryllium Copper, Brass, Aluminium, Mild Steel, Nickel Silver and Inconel, Nimonic, Hastelloy, Titanium, Phynox. All materials are fully traceable. COMPRESSION SPRINGS: Simpson Springs & Pressings can manufacture
volume quantities of parallel compression, conical compression and barrel compression springs, etc. made to exact specification, with ground ends where necessary in wire sizes from 0.125 to 4.06mm diameter. Small batch quantities up to 19.0mm diameter wire can also be produced. TORSION SPRINGS: Torsion and double torsion springs are manufactured
to customer requirements on the latest CNC machinery to a very high level of accuracy, with various leg and hook forms as required, in wire sizes ranging from 0.15mm to 3.00mm diameter and small batch quantities up to 19.0mm diameter wire. EXTENSION SPRINGS: Extension springs can be manufactured in a range
of loop options including standard loops, swivel loops, reduced loops, and extended loops to meet your individual requirements in volume quantities from 0.153mm to 4.0mm diameter and small batches up to 19.0mm wire. PRESSINGS: Simpsons Springs can create your custom pressings,
Manufacturing capabilities include: pressings, stampings, washers, contacts and multislide components. From low volume hand crafted parts to high volume automated pressings.
All these are manufactured in various materials and forms to meet your requirements. Material thickness in volume quantities from 0.1mm to 1.625mm thick, small batches are available in up to 3.25mm thick material.
