That’s why NIBE has made installer training a cornerstone of its UK strategy. From its award- winning training centre in Chesterfield to a growing network of training partners, NIBE offers a comprehensive range of courses, including BPEC-certified and CPD-accredited programmes, designed to support both new entrants and experienced professionals. Partnerships with organisations such as GTEC and further education colleges ensure that training is accessible and up to date with the latest regulations, technologies and best- practice design. Alongside installer training, NIBE has introduced a direct-to-consumer (D2C) channel, helping homeowners make more informed choices about their heating systems and supporting customers throughout the entire journey – from understanding the benefits of a heat pump to ensuring a high-quality installation and long-term support. NIBE’s UK product range continues to
grow with the addition of innovative, next- generation systems tailored to modern building challenges. These include the S1156 PC and S1256 PC Ground Source Heat Pumps, which
combine exceptional heating performance with integrated passive cooling. These models are ideal for homeowners seeking year-round comfort with outstanding energy efficiency, without the need for active mechanical cooling systems. Also new to the UK market is the S735C Exhaust Air Heat Pump, designed specifically for compact urban homes and apartments. The unit offers a complete indoor solution (no outdoor unit required) and provides heating, ventilation, hot water and active cooling from a single compact system. With growing demand for solutions that meet overheating regulations while preserving indoor air quality, the S735C is a future-ready option that supports compliance with Building Regulations Part L, F and O.
NIBE’s capabilities in communal and district heating also continue to strengthen. The company recently expanded its offer with the addition of Cetetherm’s fourth-generation Pioneer Heat Interface Unit (HIU) and energy- efficient substations. These UKReg4-certified HIUs are compact, highly efficient and remotely optimisable via myUplink, making them ideal for multi-residential buildings, heat networks and large-scale developments. Their compatibility with both heat pumps
and traditional heat networks ensures long- term flexibility, while helping developers meet decarbonisation goals.
