erman piping system manufacturer SANHA® is once more introducing a helpful addition to her range. With a new universal transition fitting, connections between thick-walled steel pipes and various other pipes like stainless steel, carbon steel and copper are an easy feat for the experienced
installer and help to cut down on SKU proliferation. The new fittings are made from lead-free silicon bronze (CuSi). This material is highly corrosion- resistant and durable and optimally suited to connect various metals. The fittings are available in a wide range of common dimensions, offering maximum flexibility for installers and wholesalers alike. At the same time, the premium material allows for a wide range of applications such as heating, cooling, drinking water, compressed air and many more. With two press ends – one for thick-walled steel pipes, the other for stainless steel, carbon steel
and copper pipes -, new installations as well as repairs in existing buildings can be carried out in a convenient and timely manner. The connection with thick-walled steel pipes is especially durable due to two rows of bi-directional “teeth” acting as a further stabilising factor while holding the fitting in place when it is pushed onto the pipe. A 200 % larger surface area of the sealing ring compared to traditional o rings ensures a permanently tight connection. “CENTRE OF CLIMATE” EMBRACES WELLUMIC LIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FROM TRILUX AND WAREMA

he “Centre of Climate” in Lahr, Baden-Württemberg, prioritises the well-being of its occupants.
Its sustainable design incorporates Wellumic, an innovation developed by TRILUX and WAREMA, which harmonises lighting and sun shading, constituting a coordinated light management system. The algorithm- based control system harnesses available daylight, preventing indoor spaces from overheating, especially during summer, due to excessive sunlight exposure that would necessitate energy-intensive cooling. to manage two essential aspects with one solution, streamlining the planning and implementation processes through intelligent interaction between proven systems. A notable feature is the precise control of external blinds through SMI motors. Beyond mere opening
and closing, these motors finely adjust the angle of individual slats in real-time, down to the nearest degree. To minimise glare and maximise sunlight penetration, the intricate algorithm factors variables such as the sun’s angle relative to each window throughout the day and seasons, expertly adjusting slat angles accordingly. DC Charging Moves to the Fast Lane at EMEX 2023
rimley, UK, 9th October 2023 –Controls and Automation specialist, Carlo Gavazzi has announced it will unveil its very latest innovation the DCT1 DC Energy Transducer which revolutionises Rapid EV Charging and battery storage applications at this year’s EMEX exhibition, 22nd – 23rd November 2023
at ExCeL London. The DCT1 will ensure accurate and reliable metering for rapid charge systems, presenting the perfect solution to inaccurate results from upstream AC metering. The DCT1 is suited to systems up to 1000 V DC ensuring accurate energy, ampere-hour, power, voltage, current, load run hours and the total on-time measurements. Direct connect and rated current up to 600 A (DCT1A60) or up to 300 A (DCT1A30). The DCT1 maintains accurate measuring to Class 1 (kWh) according to EN62053-41 which guarantees the highest accuracy from 1 to 100% of the measuring range (Eichrecht approval Evaluation certificate available) or class A according to VDE-AR-E 2418-3-100 Annex A. A selection of real time variables such as V, A, W and total bi-directional energy measurements kWh
(total imported/ exported, partial imported/exported) as well as Ampere-hour measurements can be taken in addition to the fast serial data refresh time of 0.1kWh and data refresh times of 200 ms (Modbus RTU), automatic data push every 200 ms in SML version which when combined ensures its suitability for load emergency disconnection. As with other Carlo Gavazzi energy meters, power analysers and transducers the DCT1 carries CE, UKCA, EAC, cURus certification.
