PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD THIS AUTUMN A

s summer begins to wind down and tradies across the country prepare for the autumn

season ramp-up, Bobcat Safety Footwear has added the Delta Rockford to its range of safety footwear, a trainer-style shoe designed for indoor working environments across sectors including electrical, joinery, warehousing and facilities management. The Rockford has a dark grey finish and a

metal-free construction. It features a composite toe cap and anti-penetration midsole, providing protection without the use of steel components. The footwear is also water-resistant and breathable, with anti-static properties for use in workplace environments where these characteristics are required. Additional features include heat-bonded

rubber toe guards, reinforced heel and toe pulls and stitched athletic-inspired lace ghillies. The shoe is designed to provide durability for regular workplace use, while its trainer-style construction offers an alternative to more traditional safety footwear. The Rockford also incorporates Leaf Spring

Technology, a feature used across the Bobcat Safety Footwear range. The technology is designed to absorb impact and provide support during periods of prolonged standing and walking. According to independently conducted testing

cited by the company, the technology provides 46 per cent greater shock absorption and can outperform leading competitors by up to 30 per cent. The Rockford carries an S3S SR FO rating.

This includes protection against a range of workplace hazards, alongside slip resistance and fuel oil resistance. Peter Lawson, Brand Manager at Overland

Shoes, the parent company behind Bobcat Safety Footwear, said the shoe has been developed with the demands of busy indoor working environments in mind. “Autumn can be a particularly busy period for

many trades and other professionals, with workloads increasing across areas such as facilities, warehousing and general contracting,” he said. “The Rockford combines the format of a trainer

with the safety features and construction expected from workplace footwear, making it suitable for professionals who spend much of their working day on their feet.” The Delta Rockford forms part of the wider

Bobcat Safety Footwear range, which includes footwear designed for different workplace environments and requirements.
