not matter as much as the connectivity for example.
“On the other hand, most residential house with driveways will be displaying the unit in its entirety. So the balance between aesthetics and reliability needs to be met. “We at Vestel have been manufacturing electronics on mass scale with substantial success, giving us the insight as to what the end user really wants. We are proud of our designs and believe they service the market on aesthetics as well as functionality.”
SK: What opportunities do you see for electricians expanding their repertoire with EV charger installs? Is it worth them training now? BH: “Every house with a driveway, office with a car park or public parking spot is an opportunity for work for electricians. If we do not expand the number of electricians able to work on EV chargers the backlog may become unmanageable and may increase prices.
“EV charging courses are now more available than ever and multiskilled electricians for now will be a great asset to any business able to install a charger one day and solar panels or update a consumer unit the next.
“Most electricians tend to focus and many have chosen EV installs as a lifestyle. Most of your work
is outside and with jobs taking 3-4 hours it is ideal for half a days work per install. “The demand for installers is there especially if they go to work for a small to medium size business who are able to generate the work to keep staff busy. To assist with speeding up jobs,
Vestel residential chargers come with a back plate helping installers speed up the process when setting up. We also provide extensive training on our products, limiting future call outs and faulty installs.”
