rom London’s oldest bonded warehouse to the UK’s leading tax

warehousing company, LCB has an impeccable reputation with renowned drinks trade customers and provides a comprehensive and sophisticated drink logistics service. Responsible for eight million cases and

operating a delivery fleet of around 300 vehicles, the business has added another warehouse to its portfolio and chose Ecolighting for its reduced costs against competitor prices and the efficacy of its fittings to install energy saving lighting systems. The drinks giant needed efficient

lighting for its left, right and centre transfer aisles, 13 picking aisles, pedestrian walkway and goods in/out area and installed Ecolighting’s Pegasus LED high bay and Altos emergency LED lighting into the new warehouse.

The warehouse was assessed by

Ecolighting and 47 280W 120 degree beam angle and 151 200W 30 degree beam angle Pegasus LEDs and 74 Altos emergency lighting luminaires were chosen as the best solution. Vaughan Bendall, project manager at

London City Bond, comments, “From the first point of contact and through the whole installation process, the Ecolighting team has been efficient, supportive and produced an excellent end result. Because of our experience this time, we will certainly consider switching the lighting in some of our other warehouses, especially as the price was so competitive and has proved to be well worth the money we invested.” Ecolighting’s Pegasus uses an Osram

driver and LEDs giving 166 lumens per watt and up to 80 per cent energy saving in installations on traditional systems.
