How to use the platform
Welcome to What University Live? & What Career Live? Virtual Event!
Taking place over: Friday 19 March: 10:00 – 15:00 Saturday 20 March: 11:00 – 15:00 On-demand content available until 5pm on Friday 26 March
Getting started If you haven’t already, register for free here
You’ll need the email address and password you set during registration to access the event. Don’t worry if you forget your password, you can reset it instantly by clicking ‘Forgot password’ on the day.
To start exploring: If possible, use a laptop or computer for the best experience. You’ll be able to access the event on most Apple and Android devices, but it is easier to navigate on a larger screen
Open Google Chrome Head to the log in page Click on the blue ‘System Check’ box to ensure your device is set up correctly Log in using your email and password!

TOP TIP
Having problems opening a chat window? Make sure you’ve run the System Check and enabled pop ups.
Using the platform 1. How do I start chatting? Head to the Universities & Employers Hall or the Advice Area to start chatting to reps. Chat with us – this will open a public chat window where you can ask stand reps your questions. Everyone on the stand, including other visitors, can see these messages
One-to-one chat – to start a private conversation with a stand rep to ask more detailed questions, click on the green speech bubble icon next their name (if it is grey, that means they are offline)
Please note: the chat function is only available during live event times.
