As ‘FORTE’ makes its grand entrance, the prospect of a remix pack looms on the horizon. Names are whispered, collaborations considered. In this space of creation, Pan-Pot seeks diversity - a fusion of genres, an exploration of new territories, a celebration of friends and favourites.

Thomas: Yes, 100%. We are discussing this right now and we are looking for the right artist to do a remix of our tracks. We have a big list of names which we’re currently reaching out to. Tassilo: First of all, we always like to involve friends in such projects. But it’s also important to reach a bigger spectrum of people so for us it makes sense to get remixes from artists who do different genres. At the same time, we also have some favourites who we want to involve as we love the work they do in general.

Tassilo: We definitively work faster when Thomas is in the house! Haha. He likes efficiency whilst producing. I really like to get lost in detail, try out new things and just experiment as much as possible. It’s good to have someone who restricts the time and the way you use it. It really halts us to move forward at times. I also have another music project which I won’t name here as I keep it under the radar. I do it with another friend and the way we work is different. No genre boundaries, no pressure concerning defined directions… It’s a project to go a bit crazier.

Second State isn’t just a label; it’s a platform for emerging artists. For Pan-Pot, this is a duty, a commitment to the next generation. They understand the trials and tribulations of a budding artist, and in offering guidance, they pave the way for new voices to be heard.

I’m always very happy when we help young artists by giving them a good start or guidelines for the business. Tassilo: It’s great to help young artists to get a foot into the business.
