As they celebrate two decades at the forefront of the electronic music scene, the journey has not been without its trials. Like any long-standing relationship, disagreements and doubts have been confronted head-on. Talk of separation, though distant, once hung in the air. But in the crucible of their shared passion, they found strength, emerging from the fire with a bond forged in the crucible of creation.

Tassilo: Oh yes, you definitely have to be tough and strong to keep it up for 20 years in this business. The tracks on ‘FORTE’ only represent the highs I would say, even though we had troublesome times, like anyone.

Also, the way we travel and define our playtimes and the logistics around them, guarantee us the best and most comfortable way of handling tour-life. For example, right now, we’re in Argentina on a 12-day South American tour. We constantly stay on CET time, so we don’t get into trouble when back in Germany. It also gives us the possibility to have a full night of sleep before every show. Therefore, we schedule our flights usually as early as possible after every show to use the hours of the day most effectively, so we have time whenever we get to each destination, whether it be another show or arriving home.
