“Ora mi trovo a Barcellona per qualche mese ed è stato molto bello vivere lì. La mia routine quotidiana comprende il padel, a volte due volte al mattino. È bello mantenere un’attività sportiva oltre ai viaggi e alle feste. Poi, il resto della giornata è dedicato allo studio. Sto trovando un buon equilibrio tra le attività collaterali e la musica. Prima producevo soprattutto la sera tardi, a volte anche fino al mattino presto. Mi piaceva la sensazione di produrre di notte, quando tutti dormono, ma ora sento che è bene avere un “ritmo normale” di vita. Naturalmente, vedere gli amici e mangiare le tapas fa sempre parte dello stile di vita di Barcellona. Quando non suono nel fine settimana, mi piace uscire e vedere alcuni amici DJ che suonano o scoprire altri artisti. Mi piace molto uscire e ascoltare altri artisti; sento che mi mantiene ispirato”.
UN IMPEGNO PER LA QUALITÀ
Con la reputazione di “artista dell’acquisto a vista”, l’impegno di Janeret nel fornire musica di alta qualità rimane incrollabile. Prendendosi il tempo necessario per perfezionare ogni brano, l’approccio meticoloso di Janeret assicura che ogni uscita sia un capolavoro sonoro.
“Non pubblico molta musica anche se ne faccio ogni giorno. Mi piace prendermi il mio tempo e ascoltare i brani più volte per essere sicuro. Quando non mi annoio dopo averli ascoltati 100 volte, di solito mi sento volte, di solito mi sento felice di pubblicarlo. Penso che la maggior parte degli artisti provi questa sensazione quando finisci un brano speciale: sai subito che finirà in un disco. Per me i brani più spontanei e “veloci” da creare sono quelli che funzionano meglio. Per quanto riguarda la creatività, quando sono “stanco” della “musica da club”, mi piace produ- rre stili diversi come Hip-Hop, Reggae/Dub, Jungle e musica sperimentale/ambient. Lo consiglio per rinfrescare il cervello e, per quanto mi riguarda, mi aiuta a cambiare il flusso di lavoro e a esplorare cose diverse durante la produzione. Poi, quando torno alla musica House, ho nuove idee da utiliz- zare e nuove competenze”.
GUARDARE AVANTI
Janeret guarda al futuro ed è entusiasta dei prossimi progetti della sua seconda etichetta “Omike”. Come il visionario che è, la sua etichet- ta si spingerà oltre i confini ed esplorerà territori inesplorati. Non si tratta solo di pubblicare brani, ma di sperimentare nuovi suoni e creare paesaggi sonori che affascinino il pubblico e sfidino le con- venzioni.
“In realtà sto lavorando per essere più attivo su- lla mia seconda etichetta chiamata ‘Omike’, che è più orientata alla House e al Breakbeat, mentre ‘Joule’ è più per le cose profonde. Sono già in pro- gramma due EP che usciranno in primavera”.

“I’m now based in Barcelona for a few months, and it’s been really nice living there. My daily routine includes playing padel, sometimes twice in the morning. It’s good to keep a sports activity besides travelling and partying. Then, it’s studio time for the rest of the day. I’m finding a good balance between side activities and music. I used to produce mainly late at night, even till early morning sometimes. I used to love the feeling of producing at night when everybody is asleep, but now I feel it’s good to have a “normal rhythm” of life. Of course, seeing some friends and getting some tapas is always part of the Barcelona lifestyle. When I’m not playing on the weekend, I like to go out and see some DJ friends playing or discover other artists. I really like to go out and listen to other artists; I feel that it keeps me inspired.”
A COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
With a reputation as a “purchase-on-sight artist,” Janeret’s commitment to delivering high-quality music remains unwavering. Taking his time to perfect each track, Janeret’s meti- culous approach ensures that every release is a sonic masterpiece.
“I don’t release much music even though I’m making music every day. I like to take my time and listen to the tracks many times to be sure. When I don’t get bored after listening to it 100 times, I usually feel happy to release it. I think most ar- tists have this feeling when you finish a special track; you know directly that it’s going to be on a record. It turns out that for me, the tracks that are the most spontaneous and “fast” to create worked the best. For creativity, when I get “tired” of “club music,” I like to produce different styles like Hip-Hop, Reggae/Dub, Jungle, and experimen- tal/ambient music. I recommend it to refresh your brain, and for me, it helps me to change the workflow and explore different things while produ- cing. Then when I get back to House music, I have fresh ideas to use and new skills.”
LOOKING AHEAD
As Janeret looks ahead to the future, he’s excited about his upcoming projects on his second label ‘Omike’. Like the visionary he is, his label will be pushing boundaries and exploring uncharted territories. It’s not just about releasing tracks; it’s about pioneering new sounds and creating sonic landscapes that captivate audiences and cha- llenge conventions.
“I’m actually working to be more active on my second label called ‘Omike’, which is more House and Breakbeat-oriented, while ‘Joule’ is more for deep stuff. Two EPs are already planned and will come out around spring.”
