Janeret, il visionario DJ e produttore francese, si è ritagliato una nicchia nella scena della musica elettronica con la sua miscela distintiva di ener- gia ed emozione. Il viaggio musicale di Janeret è un arazzo di influenze diverse, radicato nell’amore per

Traendo ispirazione dalla scena atmosferica Drum and Bass della fine degli anni ‘90, così come dalla musica Dub Techno e Dub/Reggae, lo stile caratteristico di Janeret è emerso da anni di immersione nei suoni delle scene Deep House di Chicago e New York.


“Mi piace passare da uno stile musicale all’altro”, spiega Janeret. “Per me lo stile musicale non ha molta importanza; ciò che mi appassiona è l’at- mosfera del brano”.


“Penso che la mia musica sia una combinazione di generi diversi. Ciò che mi definisce maggiormente è un mix tra ambient e Deep House combinato con batterie dinamiche e sapore dub. Chiunque mi conosca è consapevole della mia passione per i pad e le tracce d’atmosfera. Inoltre, traggo un’enorme influenza dalla D&B di fine anni ‘90, che è una pura miscela di questa combinazione. Mi sono diretta- mente innamorato di quel genere. Sono anche un grande fan della Dub Techno e della musica Dub/ Reggae. Questa firma sonora è emersa dopo molti anni di ascolto di musica deep house anni ‘90 di Chicago e New York, che recentemente è tornata nei miei set”.


Questa fusione di influenze è evidente nell’im- minente EP solista di Janeret per


barcellonese “Les Enfants”, dove gli ascoltatori possono aspettarsi una gamma di suoni diversi, dall’acid e house alla deep house e all’elec- tro/breakbeat.

Known for seamlessly weaving ambient textures with deep House grooves, Janeret’s music transcends genres, offering listeners a sonic journey that resonates deep within the soul.


- A FUSION OF INFLUENCES


Janeret’s musical journey is a tapestry of diverse influences, rooted in a love for atmospheric soundscapes and dynamic rhythms. Drawing inspiration from the late 90s atmospheric Drum and Bass scene, as well as Dub Techno and Dub/ Reggae music, Janeret’s signature style emerged from years of immersing himself in the sounds of Chicago and New York’s Deep House scenes.


“I like to move between styles of music,” Janeret explains. “For me, the style of music doesn’t really matter; what I get hooked on is the atmosphere of the track.”


“I think that my music is a combination of different genres. What defines me the most is a mix between ambient and Deep House com- bined with dynamic drums and dub flavour. Everyone who knows me is aware of my passion for pads and atmospheric tracks. I also draw a huge influence from the late 90s D&B, which is a pure blend of this combination. I directly fell in love with that genre. I’m also a big fan of Dub Techno and Dub/Reggae music. This signature sound emerged after many years of listening to more 90s deep House music from Chicago and New York, which has recently made a comeback into my sets.”


This fusion of influences is evident in Janeret’s upcoming solo EP on Barcelona-based label ‘Les Enfants’, where listeners can expect a diverse range of sounds, from acid and house to deep house and electro/breakbeat.
