All chemicals have some environmental impact. However, there are many different "green" cleaning schemes that do not take into account all of the relevant factors. Evans Vanodine has developed an innovative system called WEIR that classifies products according to their overall environmental impact.

The WEIR system uses seven criteria to analyze each product in the Evans range. The lower the product score, the lower the environmental impact. Products with a low impact rating are identified with a green tick WEIR logo on the label.
