Simnel cake The traditional simnel cake will be served after, the Sunday Mass at English' ^ la r ty r s ’s RC Church, Whalley, to mark Mothering Sunday this week­ end.


Easter by the Ren­ aissance Singers on Sunday March 17th in Whalley Method­ ist Church..


An Easter cake and Easter eggs will be raffled after Mass on Easter Day. Tickets will be on sale after Mass un­ til Easter. Gifts of Easter eggs can be left at the back of the church, where there is also a flower bucket for contribu­ tions towards the cost of decorating the church for the Easter festival.


Mass on Saturday is at 5 p.m. arid at 11 a.m. bn Suriday, Weekday Mases are at 10 a.m., except Tuesdays.
