House is haunted by a mysterious Phantom, who eventually helps save it from falling into Frank Lee's grubby hands. The fantastic
chorus of Young RATS supports the main cast with a host of songs and dances. The panto fools
(John Royle and Mick Flynn) provide some of the many, many laughs. The panto is directed by Jane Flynn, and the musical director and producer is Katie Farnworth. Performances
will be staged in Ribchester Village Hall on Friday February 22nd at 7-30 p.m., Saturday, February, 23rd matinee 2 p.m. and evening 7-30 p.m.,

Menu launch at lunchtime jazz session
VISITORS to The Grand's Lunchtime Live session, tomorrow, will be able to enjoy a new seasonal menu. In addition to the venue's reputed home-baked pizzas and gourmet sandwiches, there vvill be a new Hot Dish of the Day and a regular offering of a platter with three local cheeses (a dish to be shared between two). Bespoke menus have
also been created for The Grand's other regular events, including Streetfeet (Thursdays, 4-30 p.m. to 9 p.m.), but you don't need to be attending an event to enjoy the wonderful food available at The Grand -- just pop in any time to give it a try.
